Coucou,<\/p>\n

alors pour le premier workshop de l’ann\u00e9e, on a eu un mandat du Grand Prix International de l’Horlogerie de Gen\u00e8ve:<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0In this workshop, you\u2019ll start the academic year with a little glitter.
\nYou will be working on a monumental projection + animation content for the very fancy Grand Prix International de l\u2019Horlogerie de Gen\u00e8ve.
\nMedia Design have been asked to produce the animated content of this show that will take part on november 8th 2017.
\nThe brief is simple: give the audience an innovative visual show, with projection, mapping and scenography.
\nThe ceremony will take place in the Theatre du L\u00e9man in Gen\u00e8ve presented by Edouard Baer, a french actor on the 8th of november 2018.
\nAll the famous a prestigious watch brands will be there and fight for the awards, all really similar to the movies awards.
\nOur part will be to add to this ceremony a little surprise. They wand us to give the show a little twist that is not too previsible. I suggest to work with a very interesting
\nprojection support: mosquito net! We will test it together on a small scale maquette. (…)
\nand we\u2019ll have to make it clean and perfect for the ceremony.

Du coup, comme d’habitude en ce qui me concerne (et en ce qui concerne les gens qui bossent avec moi), je souffre \u00e0 trouver une id\u00e9e. Avec Ma* on aimait bien l’id\u00e9e de \u00ab\u00a0portes\u00a0\u00bb, des \u00ab\u00a0portes du temps\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Pourquoi la porte ? Parce qu’on s’est tap\u00e9 les vid\u00e9os de c\u00e9r\u00e9monies des ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes et alors si il y avait un truc que j’ai retenu des r\u00e9compens\u00e9s, c’\u00e9tait les discours du style \u00ab\u00a0notre montre, repr\u00e9sente l’\u00e9quilibre [parfait] entre h\u00e9ritage et innovation, tradition et modernit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

D’ailleurs quand j’ai cherch\u00e9 l’antonyme d’h\u00e9ritage, Ma m’a dit que \u00e7a ne pouvait pas exister. J’ai dit \u00ab\u00a0d’accord\u00a0\u00bb mais j’ai quand m\u00eame v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 et c’est vrai qu’il n’y en a pas.<\/p>\n

Du coup on s’est dit que la porte, pouvait incarner la transition entre le pass\u00e9 (devant la porte) et le futur (derri\u00e8re la porte). Et ce passage de la porte serait alors le moment pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n

MAIS BON, c’est pas tout d’aimer les portes, la question restait comment cr\u00e9er une installation qui produit le fameux \u00ab\u00a0wow effect\u00a0\u00bb sans niker la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie ?<\/p>\n

Alors du coup on s’est greff\u00e9 au groupe de Iv & Re. qui eux, avait aussi un concept mais pas vraiment d’id\u00e9es de proto, ou vice-versa.<\/p>\n

Finalement, on aimait bien leur id\u00e9e de \u00ab\u00a0suspendre le temps\u00a0\u00bb, alors on est partis l\u00e0 dessus: on s’est dit qu’on pourrait faire une structure en suspension en plusieurs couches qui encadrerait la sc\u00e8ne et projeter des s\u00e9quence de particules.\u00a0 \u00a0 To be continued…<\/em><\/p>\n
